anyone else's amp/rcvr hate "phantom center" ?

my nak av-10 rcvr needs to be on "downmix" (2ch) for dolby digital and dts in order to hear dialogue...otherwise all u hear is background sounds and echos of dialogue
i set the center to "0"
the fix? i ordered a mgcc1 today
anyone else have that problem?
