I'm sorry, but the D.A.V.E. system has won many accolades from the "published" reviewers, as you would say. Also, it competes with much more expensive gear on HT. The AVR is just a baby D.A.V.E. that is $2,000 less.

I could argue the fact that the Arcam is not as good on HT, but it wouldn't do any good. All the "published reviewers" say that it is sub-par, but I'd put mine against ANYTHING in the price range on HT.

And the musicality speaks for itself. .
