4:3...

134.134.248.27

...I went with a 53" 4:3. Why? -because I get more viewing area for my $$, I still mostly watch 4:3 TV with a couple of widescreen DVD's on the weekend thus limiting my 'screen-burn' viewing to only a small percentage of my total viewing time, just because you buy a 16:9 doesn't mean you escape the 'black bars' on all widescreen movies...this means with a 16:9 you need to deal with BOTH horizontal and vertical bars instead of just horizontal w/ a 4:3, and lastly...I HATE the look of a stretched 4:3 picture on a widescreen monitor.
