So I got a great deal on this TV (under a thousand with no tax brand new in the box). I lug this beast up four flights of stairs (165 pounds). I'm very excited by its 16 x 9 enhancement feature for my DVD's. I wait the half hour to let it settle. I flip it on - and running across the screen is a slightly brighter horizontal bar that takes up the middle one third of the screen. It's only noticeable on bright screens, and is just faint enough to be completely annoying. So, I call Sony, they send a guy out and he says nothing can be done. They can only make an adjustment for bars that run vertically. Anyone with this TV have the same problem? Or any suggestions on how to make it go away since Sony's repair team has been useless...
