Re: Subwoofer Placement

Can't say, we know nothing about your room. The rule of thumb is to place the sub at the seated position and walk around the room to find best sound effect when the sub is turned on. Once found, that is where the sub should be positioned. However, sometimes you just have to put the sub where it will be most conveniant and run with it, in which case you might need some bass traps in the corner (which I still tend to recomend anyway) so the corners are not overwhelmed if there is a chair placed at that location.

I know others here at the asylum will offer some additional information that will prove to be helpful.
