711 DVD player. My puppy eat my TV controller which prompted me to buy a cheap Sony Universal Remote (14.00 at Circuit City). I'm using the codes supplied in the Sony manual and I did the channel scan thing, but still cannot get the controller to manage the DVD. It works fine for my TV and Receiver. Am I just out of luck or is there something I'm missing? Thanks
