RE surround sound, I'm in good shape there with a Pioneer Elite VSX36THX receiver, Dynaudio Audience 62 L/R, 122C center, and 42 rears, and a REL Strata 3 sub. You can spend more, you can spend less, but this system gives great preformance for movies and for music. Highly recommended! See www.dynaudiona.com.
