Any idea what I should expect with a JBL ESC-230?

Well I picked the JBL ESC-230 up for $100 bones on ubid. Its only 15 watts * 6, so I know its not going to be earthshattering loud, but I live in an apartment so thats fine. Besides if I ever get really spunky I can put some mid 90's effcientcy klipsh on it later. So I am going to ditch my current system a rotel rsp980, and a parasound 855, and I am trying to figure if anyone else has had this JBL and would advise against it so strongly that I might end up just selling the JBL. Or just any general sugestions on what I can do to make this JBL the best it can be? Right off the bat I am thinking a powered sub for just a bit more umph.
