Here's my listening room situation deal: it's a 13x14' room. One 14' wall is flat and windowless. Opposite is a 3/4 wall with an opening at the end for a staircase. The 13' wall that borders the opening for the staircase has two windows. The opposite wall has an 8' cutout leading into a family room.
This will be a home theatre setuup. My thoughts were to put the main speakers (they're omnipolar) against the windowless 14' wall with the seating area (couch) against the opposite wall.
Does anyone have any alternate recommendations? (Keep in mind the wife factor *W*)
