24/192 DVD Player for an AudioPhile?

I'll be biting the bullet and purchasing a DVD player around Christmas. Budget will be up to $800 Canadian (I'll be purchasing a new TV sometime next year as well.)

Question is... is there such a thing as a very good progressive scan DVD player that plays all the available formats and has 24/192 upsampling? I want to use it as a DAC for audio as well as being able to play DVDs. I have an Audio Aero Capitole (not the 24/192 version) for my audio transport and was hoping to take advantage of a DVD players 24/192 upsampler.

Please excuse my ignorance, I have just decided to start researching DVD players in the last few days and know next to nothing about my options.

Any suggestions?
