Could someone tell me what the MTBT of DVD laser is? I have recently acquired a SONY DVP-S7000 that has logged about 650 hours with DVD laser. I know the laser is going to last much longer than 650 hours, but just out of curiosity I would like to know the average life expectancy of a DVD laser pickup. Is it different from that of CD laser, which I would also like to find out? Many thanks.
