Yes, go ahead and use it. The operational parameters are the same for both the coaxial digital connection and the coaxial (composite) video connection. Both are based on the 75 ohm standard. From an elitist audiophile viewpoint (well, at least mine anyway), I would be more comfortable using a Monster Cable for a video application than an audio one. Whatever the case, it sounds like this cable is way more than adequate for your application.
