I'm looking at buying a receiver, I'm a 2 channel SET guy and I don't know anything about surround sound receivers. I want to spend no more than $600. My old budget receiver, Technics, has practically died, the rear surround amp is dead and the front speaker section of the amp overloads at moderate volume. I read a lot of reviews for the outlaw and have been seriously considering it (the 1050). I like their customer service and 2 year warranty, but can anyone recommend some other receivers to audition with the outlaw? Or perhaps offer a review of the Outlaw or any opinions on how it compares to the yamaha, onkyo, denon variety?
