Thanks, Sam. I'm interested solely in the progressive (video) output. I already have a SACD player (SCD-XA777ES) and so the extra analog outputs are redundant.

I've heard varying results from DVP-9000ES DVD player and wondered if the same problematic Genesis chipset was used.
