I'm setting up a home theater system in the bedroom. I have an
M&K MX-150 THX center speaker, and M&K 750THX L/R. Will also be
getting an M&K subwoofer. All are 4 0hm. I've been looking at the
Denon 3802 for around $700, to go the easy route. Have an old Harmon Kardon AVR20 dolby pro logic receiver in the garage. Would love to go to separates but trying to keep the receiver/processor with DD, DTS and THX under $1000. Is there anyway possible to use the old HK receiver as a preamp and get a higher power amp to drive the whole system?
I also have a Sony 7700es and a Panasonic to connect. Have a Stealth
HAC Power Cord and Analysis Plus Oval 12 speaker wire. My primary
interest is great sound for the HT.
