Re: s-video or coax?

66.74.68.5

hey dude, thanx for the reply -
first, by coax, i mean the cable with the little copper wire in the middle.
second, i've got a 32" sony wega trinitron flat screen, which looks pretty damn good.
and third, i tried both setups, and i noticed that when i used an s-video from my cable box to the receiver, then another s-video from the receiver to my wega, i see these blotchy spots reminiscent of a computer whose resolution is set too low. but when i connect a coax straight from the cable box to the tv, there is no blotchiness, but noticeable snow! wtf!
i wonder if anyone has any better ideas to get a clear picture?
