Hi,
I am buying a receiver for HT use.
I am interested in Denon2802(~$550) Denon3802(~$700) Onkyo 797($800), and Yamaha RXV1200(~$700), mostly because these
are the one with ProLogic II feature.
On the long run, I will add power amp to improve the stereo.
In terms of preamp characteristc, would any particular model
among above outperform the other ? Or there is no difference
in pre-amp characteristics?
I dont like Denon's warm sound, but it may be due to its amplifer, not the preamp part of the receiver. Then 2802 would be a real bargain.
I'd appreciate your feedback.
