Pioneer 520-HD and Faroudja RP-4800

Hi, I'm in the market for a new television with a budget of (at most) $10,000 and the two options that look best are a Pioneer Elite 520-HD (w/ used or demo Faroudja DV-2200) or a (now discontinued) Faroudja RP4800 which seems to be fetching around 10 grand on the used and demo market. I was just curious if anyone has had any experience with the aforementioned televions (the Pioneer w/ or w/out the Faroudja unit) and if you could relay to me your impressions or experience with the set(s). What do you think would be a better value for the money and which would yield a better picture? Any experience with the Faroudja set will be especially helpful as I'm not sure it's going to be possible to see one before buying.
