Re: DVD interference with antenna tv

What kind of antenna cable connection do you use?

Is it shielded 75 Ohm RG-6 cable? Or is it unshielded 300 Ohm flat twinax? If it's the twianx, then I recommend changing to the RG-6 cable for the long cable run and using a 300 Ohm to 75 Ohm balun converter at the antenna. I assume you can plug RG-6 coax into your TV's input for antenna.

I have no problem running RG-6 from my roof antenna to my TV and also having a DVD player (Toshiba 3108) hooked up to the component inputs on the TV and even turned on.
