Replacing the Sony ES9000 Pre-amp remote?

As is widely known, even the new ones are impossible to read. I use the obvious functions such as Volume and Mute, but I also require immediate control of DSP Modes and, even more specific to the ES9000 Pre-amp, the ability to modify Equalizer Presets.
Are there any learning remotes available on the market that I could replace this remote with and still retain TOTAL control and have EXCELLENT readability?
