Sometimes it makes a difference, sometimes the difference is small, sometimes large. Other times there is no perceptible difference at all. Largely system dependent. My only advice is to try both and see what you think. In theory the component should look better, but this is in THEORY. Reality may be a different case altogether. I run component and have tried SV connection too. I find color saturation to be better with component. Give it a try and keep us informed--I'd be interested in what you find.
