"The DVD encryption has been broken by a group of Norwegian programmers called MoRE (Masters of Reverse Engineering). They have developed an utility that can quickly break the encryption on DVD movie data, allowing piracy of DVD movies. DVDsuse a security technique known as the Content Scrambling System (CSS). CSS encrypts the video and audio data on the disc, which must then be unlocked using a special software "key." Each licensed vendor of DVD playback hardware and software has a unique 5-byte (40-bit) key, most of which are themselves encrypted, to prevent piracy. But one vendor, Xing Technologies, "forgot" to encrypt the key used by their XingDVD player software, and this key has been discovered the norwegian programmers. Once this key was discovered, the team was able to decode over a hundred other keys, due to the weak encryption algorithm used. Now they can copy an encrypted movie from the DVD to an decrypted file in a computer.to the disc. One of the members of MoRE told to Wired magazine that the algorithm was so weak that he/she wonders how much money the DVD companys paid for such a really bad thing."

Ok, so now I'm trying to find the utility to crack DVD, just for curiosity not to copy DVD. I haven't found any information in the net about MoRE. But I'm only one and "we" are thousands. So, what about spending some hours this next week-end surfing the net and trying to find this "nice" utility?
