Mismatch Speakers for DD

Ok, I have KEF Q15 as mains an NHT AC1 for a center and thinking of getting KEF Coda7s for rears because they're so cheap and I like the soft sound of KEF speakers. Thoughts on how important timbre matching is? Here's my impression. On DPL while watching tv I can tell the center NHT and KEFs don't match but I like the sharpness of the NHT center. In DD dvds I can really tell a difference. The KEFs are plenty loud for my small apartment.
Thoughts?
