Component video is "warm and fuzzy." If you want crisp, try a digital connection instead of analog.

I'm not a big fan of Monster Cable stuff, but the M1000cv cables are about as good as it gets. Component video cables aren't quite the same as audio cables as far as upgrades. You can pay a LOT more money (for Transparent, or AQ, or the like) for component video cables and not gain much at all in performance. The only situation I can see where the ultra-expensive cables MIGHT make a difference is if you needed a very, very long run.

The Monster M1000cv cables are silver-coated copper.
