DTS is way better on my Rotel equipment (separates)

into Paradigm Reference speakers.

I've compared DTS to DD 5.1 on several DVDs in detail. DTS is always better, sometimes significantly so. Occasionally DD comes close.

A couple of good tests are the Tom Cruise cameo at the beginning of the second Austin Powers DVD, and, a Superbit version of 5th Element.
