720P out, NTSC & PAL, Flexible Zoom, and cheap, which one?

Just bought a Viewsonic N2750w LCD TV which is very nice for the price but lacks zoom options other than 16:9 or 4:3. When watching wide screen material on 4:3 discs (e.g. most VCD/SVCD and some DVD), I get black bars all around.
Samsung HD841 has 720P out and flexible zoom, but it does not handle PAL discs.
Is there anything similar to HD841 but can handle both NTSC and PAL?
