There are several. Consumer Reports recently did a review of several EDTV plasma sets. They were especially impressed with a Sony model. I don't have the model number handy but someone else might. My local store didn't have that one in stock. I've seen a number of good looking 42" EDTV plasma sets for under $2.5K.

I bought my LG plasma for just a hair over $2000 a couple months ago and it looks great even with HDTV source material. (I have an HDTV tuner for over the air HDTV broadcasts). Unless you're a die hard videophile, I can't see the value of spending nearly 2x for HDTV plasma vs EDTV (at this time). From 10 feet away, I could barely see the difference in picture quality between HDTV and EDTV sets side by side in the store.
