Could be, but I still don't understand how a bad component output could give correct color for one movie and bad color for another.

I am quick to admit that I don't know a whole lot about video, but this seems very strange.

Last night I removed the HT processor from the video chain, so I now have:

Philips 963SA(component out)--> Philips HDTV (component in) and still have blue faces on Dial M for Murder, but good color with newer movies.
