No problem.

According to the manual for my Pioneer DVR-320 one can record over a DVD-RW (or DVD+RW) approximately 1000 times without any picture problems. I bought about 6 discs in case I can't watch my shows in time. I've recorded a few many times over with no noticeable degradation. The initial thing weird to get used to is that you have to erase the disc as opposed to just writing over the existing information.
Make sure you get one with chase play!
