Yamaha 3095 coming soon?

Hello all.
A few weeks ago (during the Computer Game Developers conference in San Jose)
I spoke to an old buddy of mine who works at Apple. Besides being computer and video games junkies we also share the common intrest of A/V gear. Anyway, I was asking his opinion on whether or not I should invest my hard earned dollars on a current A/V reciever such as the Denon 5700 or Marantz SR-18 or wait it out for newer gear. Imagine my surprise when he informed me that a brand new, state-of-the-art Yamaha intergrated amp called the 3095 is comming to market soon. What I want to know is, do you guys know when this unit is going to hit the market and for what price. I asked my friend this same question but he wouldn't fess up. He did tell me some of the more interesting features it would have though, such as component video switching, higher resolution analoge to digital converters and digital to analoge converters, more advanced dsp fields, 7.1 channel audio for movies AND music, DVD-audio compatibility and apparently a wicked new touch sensitive universal remote. The amount of detail he spoke about the fancy remote and the way raved about the unit made be believe he has sampled it himself. Another fact that sparked my intrest is how he mentioned the Yamaha 3095 would comply with Apple's IEEE 1394 FireWire standard. Let me tell you, I have known this person for more than two decades and he is honest as the day is long and if he says this unit is coming out soon, I believe him. I checked yamaha's website to see if they have any info on this unit but I couldn't find anything. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. You seem like a knowlegable group so I wonder if you could help me. I'm pretty close to picking up a Denon 5700 but Dave says I should wait for the Yamaha. Any help you guys could give me would help
