DVD Megachangers...anything new out there?

Since we got a big screen HDTV and retired our big entertainment center cabinet, disk storage is a big issue. I'm considering a DVD/CD megachanger. Local elex store is closing down and if I time it right, I may be able pick up a Sony CX777ES 400 disk changer for about $400 (half price). It's a floor model and probably been on the shelf for a couple years, but I doubt its ever been operated. I don't need progressive scan since my Pioneer Elite hdtv handles that task internally quite nicely. Audio will go through a Channnel Island DAC via coax. SACD capability may be bonus, but its not a deciding factor.

Alternate changer choice is the CX995 or CX985. I'd go for a Pioneer megachanger but they cost twice as much as the Sony and don't appear to have been upgraded in several years.

I'm surprised to see the megachanger selection has shrunk in the past couple years. I'd have thought their practicality would have made them very popular. Am I missing any models that merit consideration?
