Where'd you get that information? No, wait! Don't tell me -- just stop using that source for information as it's wrong. Unfortunately, I'm not going to explain what THX certification does mean due to the fact that it would be full of mucho deserved sarcasm to the max (aimed at THX, not you) and I don't feel like typing for a few hours.

Fact 1: THX certification does not mean bandwidth limited and George Lucas does not bandwidth limit his soundtracks -- in any channel(s)*.

Fact 2: Bandwidth limiting is done, if so desired by the user, in the surround receiver/processor -- not in the recording.

* LFE/.1 excepted
