Saw this 61' tv in best buy. There is no substitue for size. They were playing blue ray on this set. What an amazing picture. I preferred the picture on this set to all plasma's in the store. Of course I might be comparing apples to oranges, given that this set was playing blue ray.
Also, Samsung has done a great job on the sets styling. Additionally it weighs only 77 lbs, much lighter than plasma. I can finally see myself happy with a set that is not a plasma.
Whats up with the Sony XBR SXRD set...it is really an eyesore, and I would not want it in my living room. If this is the best Sony can do on its premimum tvs then, Sony has really slipped (talking about styling here, not the picture).
