Panasonic 35" TV is "popping"?

Can anyone help identify this problem? I have a Panasonic CT35SF23 direct view 35" Panaflat television that intermittently "pops" after start up. There is a visible, white flash and an audible "pop" that happens intermittently after the set is first turned on. This can continue for one or two "pops" or more than ten. Months have gone by with no "pops" only for them to start again for no apparent reason. The set is still under store warranty but it did not act up (of course) when the technician was here for a service call. I have the set and all the HT stuff connected to a Panamax 1000 which doesn't seem to have any impact on the problem whether the set is connected to it or not. If anyone could help identify this problem, I might be able to isloate it for the tech to witness and repair. Thank you for your time. JimB
