Upgrade DVD with good cd quality

I have the old Sony 500D w/o DTS and want to upgrade to a DTS player. I currently dont have a CD player and using the DVD as such.
Due to rack room limitations, I like to get a Good DVD with decent CD quality. I have budget up to 2.5K but like to keep it 1K or less. Any suggestions for DVD with good cd quality?
My equipment: Lex DC1/ARC LS25/Classe CA300 & Rotel Amp
B&W Naut 805/Htm2/Cdm-se1
