I've got 2 Super Beta Hi-Fi player/recorders. Bought them at garage sales for less than $10 each and they both included a bunch of tapes. Usually can find good Beta tapes (to record over) for anywhere from .10 cents to .50 cents ar garage sales. If the price is right, go for it.
