BD was supposed to stomp out HD DVD by last christmas. Unfortunately for Sony, they didn't sell as many PS3s as planned. People aren't flocking to the $1000 stand alone players either. Attatch rates are a joke, and the Pirates movies that were supposed to kill HD DVD, only sold tens of thousands. They STILL haven't finalized the specs. To top it all off, some reason HD DVD won't roll over and die. There's rumors that Foz will be releasing in france, but region coding kind of puts a damper on importing them.

PS. 2 days ago, Panasonic announced BD had won the war. I beleive this is the third time this year they've won.
