There was no need to do so; I just politely quit posting cheerleader references.

After all, I didn't want to hurt your feelings by drawing too much attention to your whimpering pleas for relief. ;0)

BTW, you should turn YOUR spell-checker back on, dude, before folks start wondering if you write with a lisp carried over from your day job.

>>> "In case you still haven't noticed, your team is losing badly." <<<

It isn't a "team" thing or an "us against them" thing or a "capacity" thing, it's about folks investment in hardware and discs that's in jeopardy and I'm not just talking about early adopters. When prices dropped below $100 for players during the holidays and included movie incentives, both formats ceased being early adopter products.

You apparently think that Blu-ray has any faults and ignore region locking issues and Blu-rays failure to meet final specs in current players, but there are serious issues with involved with changing specifications, especially when there's no direct pathway to upgrading existing players to meet those new specs. Folks who've invested in BD players that don't meet the final specs are probably going to get screwed without ever being kissed by the very format they've supported so rabidly. Trust me, when that happens SONY will probably find a way to charge Blu-ray supporters top dollar for their trademarked brand of KY Jelly. ;O)
