Thanks for responding about this confusing matter. I hear that there are very high quality SCART RGB type connectors. However, if one has an A/V Processor, it would seem that you must go into the processor to get the sound processed correctly. I would imagine that a high quality RGG connector could go directly to the TV set and then the digital or analog out to the processor. I ask these stupid questions because when my new Sony 40" TV arrives, I will have to input the connectors into the back of the tv before installing in the cabinet. Once in the cabinet no way to get to the back of the TV. Thanks.
