'The New Avengers and Bob': Like hand-me-down heroes . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on May 1, 2025 at 18:45:45:

'Thunderbolts' ushers in the absence of The Avengers and the birth of the homeless-looking New Avengers. No more spit and polish, inspiring do-goodness, or fool-proof talents. We have an international team of runners-up who are now fighting against their evil CIA boss, Dreyfus, and her minion, Bob.

You've seen it all before, but the CGI was excellent during the battle sequences. There are a lot of laughs because no one is taking themselves too seriously.

You could wait for cable or go and sit through the credits for a few morsels of the future.

Humdrummy.
