Re: keep my yamaha?

How has the reliability been? The first 793 I had wasn't working correctly. I exchanged to another one. Now I discovered this one also has a defect, but a different one from the first. It could have been present from day 1, but I don't know. I had Yamaha repair service try to fix, but they couldn't. To say the least, I'm not to happy with Yamaha. Tonight I will pick up a Denon AVR-2700 and a Denon CD player. The CD helps to keep things simple. I will sell my 793 receiver and 565 CD player for cheap. Hopefully the defect will not bother someone. They will be getting the combo very cheap anyhow. I am very happy with the Yamaha sound but real disappointed in the quality. I thought Yamaha was a very reliable brand! Right now I don't have anything good to say about them. Am I the only one whose had two defective units, or even 1? I did buy from a retail walk-in authorized shop also. So it could be blamed on mail-order.
