I posted over at amp/preamp but I think this may be a setting problem.

I'm trying to use apps (Disney+) through the TV. I'm not getting audio through my stereo. I've run a line from the TV optical out into a DAC and then RCA's to the preamp (tape) inputs. I can only get sound from the TV speakers.


I've been running the apps through my universal player, but you can't add apps to it, only the preloaded apps.
