  Larry, all I can tell is that Proceed replaced an EPROM (my music surround mode was not functioning correclty); there are a couple of other items on the repair sheet but I can't make them out. Software upgrades are the only thing I'm upset with Proceed about; they have been promising the 96/24 software for almost 3 years!!! I don't have the software data here with me, but I don't think it's anything newer than the last upgrade 6 months (or so) ago.

    Thanks. Last software update was in June 2000.

    Madrigal e mailed me last week that they are planning to update the software this summer to offer Dolby/DTS ES/EX, and "a number of other feature enhancements." We'll have to see.
