Surprisingly somber tone, considering the subject matter.
Great performances by the two actors playing Thao and Sue... The Hmong kids next door.
My one minor criticism is of the somewhat "forced" quality of Eastwood's portrayal of Walt, the crusty bigot... Although, it could be an intentional element of his performance, Clint didn't convince me that Walt Kowalski was comfortable with the flood of epithets constantly coming out of his mouth.
Maybe that was the point.
Lots of killer one-liners!

I thought it was a great movie, one of the best I've seen in some time. I liked Clint's role as well as the neighbour kids, altogether very convincing. The one I felt didn't cut it perhaps was the cousin/gang leader. Even still, all around a very good movie, happy they didn't kill the dog; my big fear throughout... :)
