...this DVD has been out for a couple of weeks so my daughter and I finally watched it last night.
Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Spiderman 3) directed and it's a fun classic horror film with a dry humor to it. Kind of reminded me of a Tales from the Crypt story.
The theatrical release was rated PG-13 so that should give you an idea of the level intensity and gore.
Suspenseful and entertaining.
I'd give it a B-.

Today is a gift - that's why it's called the Present.
Best Regards,

My GF and I are film buffs and we thought the zine reviews looked ok and that it could be fun. 20 minutes is all we could take. Very poor vomit gags, trashy vampy women, just another bad teenage date flick. Mike, how could you? Now, let me tell you about "The Hangover." oh... I just did!

...did you feel the same way about Raimi's Evil Dead films?
I think I liked it better than Hangover.
There was so much hype about Hangover that my expectations were pretty high.
There were a lot of funny ideas in it, just not a lot of laughs for me.
My fiancee loves horror movies & this one kept me pretty well entertained. B- is a pretty good call.
which is actually worse especially when you are there.
Share a bowl of grits with someone you love tonight.
