The first of course.

He could be sitting on the john, drinking beer... and still great fun to watch.
I think I am putting both into the queue.
I am always filled with sadness when I think of Jack's departure. Such an important part of the era. Alas... none of us is forever.
I was pleasantly surprised to view another of his early performances. Little shop Of Horrors. (1960)
A simple little horror flick that delivers humor rather than horror. This movie features an exotic cross-breeded man-eating plant in an impoverished flower shop on the cheap side of town.
Jack's character, a harmless but happy little maniac who loves pain, goes to see a deranged dentist, hoping to receive as much pain as possible. Naturally, the dentist gets fed to the plant. But not before Jack's character receives all the pain he could have hoped for and leaves the dentists' office a happy customer. Just a short excerpt of the movie. But this was a good scene.
A low budget, flawed but fun movie. There was a 1987 remake of this movie,.... but they turned it into a musical. I'm not convinced that the remake succeeds as well as did the original.

He is wonderful but he is not an actor. The sole person he ever could play is: Himself- A real actor goes slip in many costume, his only one is a town costume. of course he change his shirts....Even some times his underwear....
It means exactly nothing. He played superbly every role, and they were different from each other.
"He plays himself" is the most ridiculous, most abused put down.
Most abused? If you say so.
He is a flamboyant man and a lousy actor. he is hired as an actor for just being " jack "- Now never saw him getting deeper in an role of his, it not very deep indeed.
Donīt get me wrong I like hiw and enjoy him but has an actor: pfui.
So long we are nor living under Stalin everyone is entitle to his view. We live in Europe relatively freely unlike you under your president.

Then honey pie sorry.
and that's the type of ignorant, snarky, immature response that fits right in with your response
to VK and your tired, tedious view of Jack Nicholson.
What are you 98%, stereotype?
