Those of us who enjoyed his (and Joel Kinnaman, who played him so well), fine work in The Killing, should take a look at the new season of House of Cards, where he plays Governor Conway.
Follow Ups:
Just finished three epi's and have not been excited or intrigued in the least. There is woefully less camera asides (which were always fun) and the cinematography looks painfully HD.
I hope things pick up.
His whole role is a disappointment, and he had no room for any real acting, so he should not mention this work on his resume.
Too bad... and speaks volumes of the fact that selecting the right roles is every bit as important as acting well.
I guess he wanted to be close to the sun, Kevin, in this case, and he lost on all counts, faded into the shadow.
I don't mind the HD aspect of the series, I actually like some of the imagery they have, and their choice of colors, etc. It is a TV show, after all, not another Fellini work. You can call is a modern Macbeth, and I think I know the name of the politician who hates it.
Holder is not back!
I have to agree, so far his performance is too pale to notice.
The role sucks, actually... like the whole season.
