Okay, since you too were here in the bay area in the early '60's, let's do some KTVU trivia then:
(And no cheating by going on the internet!!!!) ;-)
1. Who played Captain Satellite?
2. Who provided the voices for The Charley and Humphrey Show?
(And for bonus points, what were Charley and Humphrey?)
3. Who hosted dialing for dollars, and what did you have to know to win?
(This is kind of a gimme question!) ;-)
4. And finally, what was the name of the best late night hosted horror movie show, ever! (Sorry Elvira, but while you have some impressive attributes, you're only second best in this category!)
(And for more bonus points, who was the first, and best, host of that show!)
Two points for each question, and one point for each bonus question.
(Ten points is the most you can get.)
Follow Ups:
I remember all of the shows (1 - 3) but cannot remember who supplied the voices or the names of any of the hosts.
Could #4 have been the "Creature Feature" show hosted by that strange, skinny guy with the cigar?
1. Bob March
2. Pat McCormick, and puppets of a bulldog and a horse
3. Again, Pat McCormick, and "The Count and Amount".
4. Creature Features, with the late, great Bob Wilkins.
I used to love Creature Features, not so much for the movies, most were decent, but some of them were pretty lame, but mostly for Bob's dry sense of humor.
So I'll give you 2.5 points!
