imo this may be Chan-wook Park's best film
go see it
Follow Ups:
but I doubt it
I would have selected Part 2 and 3 for my film. I was suprised to hear themes from 'Downtown Abbey' and 'The Thin Red Line' in the soundtrack. Going for that "familiar feeling"?
I liked it but would have liked a shorter version, but that is not Wook is known for, is it?
...
Cool. Maybe I need to go see this in the theater then.
(I have seen most of his other films, which while good, were, IMHO, not quite in the same category as "Oldboy", which was a great film.)
different types of movies
I do recommend going to see The Handmaiden just for the beautiful cinematography (but the story really worked for me too)
I hope not to waste your time but a film this beautiful merits a trip to the theater
all imo of course
