Looks like an interesting bit of dystopic espionage drama with a speculative fiction twist. I was very impressed with J.K. Simmons playing the two versions of a world weary U.N. operative.

by now this one is looking really interesting. Spy versus spy. Eastern Europe. The Berlin wall may be down, but the spy biz is going strong. And all this has a new twist.
What was it?....30 years ago when the portal was discovered. Counterparts. At this point we the viewer don't have an explanation for the counterparts. Is it sci-fi?
I'm hooked.

"E Burres Stigano?"
But its just one introductory episode. Hard to say anything objective. Simmons has the weight to carry it.
Good or so-so, its different enough to stay tuned for awhile.

I haven't seen any episodes of "Berlin Station". The vibe for me was similar to "The Lives of Strangers".
